July 4, 2012 – After six months of rain (no, really!) when the sun comes out and has some warmth in it, every sane person in Vancouver heads for a patio for dinner. Us included.
It’s not a great picture, but you know what?
I don’t care.
And do you know why?
Because I am enjoying something that has become such a rare occurrence… the sun!!!
Some days you just have to let things go and enjoy what the day presents. I’ve spent two weeks agonizing over something, and finally came to a decision breaker that I will implement Friday. If “A” occurs, then decision “1” will come into play. If “B” occurs, then decision process “2” will be put into motion. Either way, the rubric is in place and the outcome will be dictated by events, and a huge stress has lifted.
What will be, will be and the rest will fall away.
So this sunshine and dinner on a sunny patio with a good bottle of wine was that much more enjoyable.
Pour me another glass and pass the sunglasses!

Thank you…completely off the cuff, and just enjoying seeing and feeling the sun for a change.

Glad to see you got to enjoy your rare glimpse of sunshine! Here’s hoping it becomes a common occurrence.
