Vancouver just ranked high on the livability scale again. This year we came in 5th – the best among Canadian cities.
At lunchtime I went for a short walk in the gorgeous weather that today offered up. I wandered down to the waterfront and, as usual, looked across the water to North Vancouver and, yet again, am thankful for the fact that I live there. I’m a bit biased, but I’m pretty sure it’s the best place to live, at the base of those mountains, so close to that water, our boat just…right…there! If I had a place on this side to leave it…I could actually kayak to work!
Gorgeous day and I leave my camera at home. Doh! Well, at least I have an iPhone.

It’s a wonderful feeling to love the place where you live and the best pleasure of all is when you arrive back after having been away for a while whether it’s just a day out or a month away 🙂
