What a fabulous long weekend. It started with a motorcycle ride on Thursday, followed by a visit to our favourite annual arts & crafts fair (The Circle Craft Christmas Fair) on Friday. We wanted to visit a couple of artists that have become our mainstays at the fair. Sadly, we discovered that an artist we have purchased a few pieces from is moving on to other things and will no longer be producing her metal works. So we spent more than we planned and took home two pieces from her. I also discovered a designer who makes unique sweaters from vintage garments and they were fabulous! An unplanned, but very cool new article. So that visit was a little more costly than usual, but we are happy with what we came home with because of the uniqueness of it all. Such a wonderful event!
Saturday was our Squadron’s Annual Crab Feast & Auction, and Sunday rounded out the weekend with a visit to Granville Island for organic deli meats and sausages, some herbal tisane, and a week’s worth of fresh produce. And while all those sweet treats behind the glass looked delicious, we didn’t cave in. We just looked. Lunch at one of our favourite pubs, and a visit to a new townhouse project that caught our attention with proposed floor plans that actually have us interested and are pretty close to what we’ve been looking for.
All in all, a fabulous weekend.

Oh all these treats look so good – and you have more will power than I do!
