OK, so this is a cheat, but I’m allowed one cheat aren’t I? Obviously I did not take these photos, but it is my camera and I figure that since I’m in the photos it should count for the day’s 365.
Our volunteer group held the annual Crab Feast & Auction at the Eagle harbour Yacht Club (same place we were married in 2009) and the theme this year was Gilligan’s Island. Ginger seemed logical only because I have red hair. A trip to Value Village turned up a red dress I could barely breathe in, a white feather boa, and a pair of velvet elbow length gloves. All for $25! Funny thing is that I probably have 20 feather boas left over from the wedding, but it was easier to buy a new one at $5.99 than try and find the box buried somewhere in our offsite storage locker. Some makeup, a fake mole on my cheek, and a whole lotta backcombing with a half a can of hairspray and I was ready to go. Surprisingly I was the ONLY Ginger!
There are a few more in this FB album…
So there, we are in a couple of photos – are you happy Burns? 🙂
