Day 270 - What do you see?

270/365 (Sept, 27, 2011) – I am up in Campbell River at the moment, just for a short work related visit. I went for a walk along the waterfront before dinner and saw the roof of this boarded up building at the edge of the sea. The ecology on the structure looked to me like a miniature forest canopy, like something you’d see from the window of an airplane. Bu it’s all very small, each mound only a few inches across. So may different kinds of mosses and lichens. It stopped me in my tracks. Fascinating!
