Day 153 - Radial Symmetry

153/354 (June 2, 2011) – What direction are you looking? Up or down? You are actually looking up. The bottom of this spiral staircase is painted with white “steps” while the tops are solid black. It is an interesting illusion and one I had to lie on the floor to get.

Day 153 - Radial SymmetryWhenever I see a staircase like this it reminds me of the QI programme on BBC (don’t know if you see this over your way) – they insist spiral is the wrong word, it should be a helical staircase! 🙂
