Day 138 – A Cold Drink

138/365 (May 18, 2011) – Finally! A truly warm day! I set out this morning on a motorcycle ride and layered all up. Thin socks, leggings, warmer socks over top, leather pants with liner inside, t-shirt, thermal over-shirt, leather jacket with quilted liner. Nice and toasty warm on a sunny but cool morning. By afternoon I was minus the thermal liner and quilted liner, gone was the pant liner, socks off, and very glad I’d had the foresight to put my tail-bag on the bike to hold it all. Recently all I want after a ride is something hot to wrap my hands around and warm my insides. Today a cold drink was in order, and that was simply awesome!
