Day 120 - Any Leprechauns Lurking?

120/365 (April 30, 2011) – Anyone remember the McDonalds Shamrock Shakes? I don’t eat McDonald’s, but I remember loving St Patrick’s Day for those things. I mean, how often do you get to drink green stuff?

My mom used to have a planted shamrock as an indoor houseplant, not sure if she still has it or not. I have the exact same plant in a huge pot outside and it stays green (mostly) all year round. I love the way the leaves close up at night and open when the day dawns again. It’s like they go to sleep.
