112/365 (April 22, 2011) – Some days you don’t get the shot that you are supposed to, or that you want, but you get something that stirs your heart instead, and the shot you were supposed to get doesn’t really matter. This certainly did not fit the “Low Contrast” bill for the Daily Shoot, but it was what I ended up at the end of the day.
This is my home Province. Just one tiny corner of it actually. I think BC is the most beautiful place on earth.
But you could probably call me slightly biased.
I probably could have taken a better mountain photo at the start of the flight. The Coastal mountains are lovely and the window wouldn’t have been mucked up with frost as badly as it was at the end of the flight. But I was trying to get some marking done on the flight and didn’t really think about the camera until we were almost at our destination and so ended up shooting the Rocky Mountains instead. Nit as good as it could have been, but still a pretty sight.

Wow! Awesome POV. I would crop out the piece of airplane at the top and try to clone out the pointed piece on the right in Photoshop. But, stunning work as is.

Nice shot…obviously you are no longer in North Van 🙂
What a sight. I can see why you love your home so much.
