109/365 (April 19, 2011) – Here’s something amazing. Did you know that buttons have been used as fasteners for over 5000 years!

So if the first buttons ever made took 5000 years to find….what hope do I have of ever finding the ones that I lose?

But seriously, do you ever stop and marvel at the history of some of the most simple things that we take for granted?
