231/365 (August 19, 2010) – I had to take my bike across to Burnaby for its first service post-engine-break-in. Kind of a crappy morning, but not raining. At least not when I dropped it off. It started as soon as the bike was in…and stopped pretty much when I got home! With two hours to kill I realized that I had made a tactical error. There is a great mall close by (Metrotown), but the stores don’t open until 10am. I made the appointment for 8:30am. So…I wandered the deserted mall and had a few good laughs. Who knew the 80’s fashions would ever re-emerge from the deep? Seriously…gold lame leopard print leggings? Also on display were leggings with long shirts and skinny ties, and leg-warmers! Man! I should have kept my old wardrobe? Not that I’d look sane wearing those clothes as a 43 year old…but I could sure sell them easily enough!

Funny, I don’t remember you owning gold lame leopard print leggings. 🙂

No, but I had (and may still have buried somewhere) a very good quality gold lame mini skirt, and I did have velvet leggings (and many others), and a leopard print skimpy mini dress….if you could call it that. I had a pretty cool wardrobe of club-clothes.
