Day 230 - Sidewalk Art

230/365 (August 18, 2010) – I was out for a ride today and stopped up at the Bloedel Conservatory for a moment. Well, it turned into more since an old timer walking his dog stopped to chat for about 20 minutes about motorcycles. Nice fellow. I was tempted to jump into the fountain and enjoy the cool water as these children were.

Up at the Queen Elizabeth Park Bloedel Conservatory, the sidewalks around the centre fountain are decorated with these small maple leaves. I’d never noticed them before…I suppose that’s OK because it means I wasn’t looking at my feet…
