82/365 (March 23, 2010) – Random shot day. No time to get out with a camera so I must resort to crappy photos of random objects within my home. Managed to avoid the kitchen and the cats for a change though.
This was my Grandpa’s radio and I remember, as a child, being fascinated by the strange languages he could make come out of it. I wish it still worked or that it could be repaired, but I’m pretty certain there isn’t anyone around who could make this work again, but oh how neat that would be.
It’s an RCA 5QR-75X international shortwave radio.
Just look at the places on that dial….
