When I was little I used to play chess with my father after school. We played until I moved away from home and I realized the other day that I haven’t played in years. I always lost to him, but it never mattered. He’d infuriate me with statements like “Are you sure you want to do that?” when I’d go to make a move… but it did help me learn.
The memory made me haul out these chess pieces and set them up for a shoot. I like the way they disappear down the line.
