It’s a rainy day and the temperature is dipping again. It’s been unseasonably warm with the Hawaiian Pineapple Express running over us this past few days. Seems like a perfect day to pack the field gear in the truck, head for Squamish, and spend part of the day walking streams and counting fish, doesn’t it? It will be that or a chum egg take…or both, depending on how it goes.
Usually when I visit the hatchery up that way I need sunglasses and sunscreen. Today I need long-johns under the waders.
But it will be fun. It’s always fun working with good people who are passionate about what they do.
