The Long and Winding Road

February 9, 2013 – We had to drive down to Tulalip, in the US, to retrieve a credit card Kirk left behind at a restaurant. Since we were there, we went a little further and also went down to Lynwood to do a bit of shopping.

But on the way we decided to do a bit of a reconnaissance mission on a road that we’d been unable to find on our last ride down across the border last Fall.

On our Labour Day weekend ride we’d tried to come back up along a road that looked like a nice ride to connect a portion of a loop I often do. But we’d taken wrong turns, missed the right ones, and generally gotten turned around as the directions were confusing. So we thought we’d try it in the truck, from the other end, and see where it popped out so that we could find it the next time we are down on the motorcycles.

And we were finally successful, after a couple of wrong turns of course 🙂

On a motorcycle, this is my favourite sign in the world.
