Game Night

March 6th, 2017|Just Thinking|

March 6, 2017 - Television is an isolating time waster. We plant ourselves in a comfortable seat, all face the same direction, and watch intently. Remote Control (104/365)

April 14, 2015 - A shot out of desperation given the crazy day at work followed by a dash home and then two and a half hours of teaching a marine VHF radio class for my volunteer group. Now I'm just tired and worn out. I imagine my students are too since I throw a [...]

I was listening to iTunes this morning and this song popped up. Since the first time I heard it, I have loved the messages within it. Some things we should always think about. There are so many wonderful moments in our lives, we forget about them too often and focus on [...]

Kodo Drummers

January 30th, 2009|Just Thinking|

One word...WOW! We went to see Kodo from Japan the other night. Fantastic. It really hits you on some primal level. The beating drums, the blending of harmonious sounds deep, high, hollow, rich. What fascinating music. It was absolutely mesmerizing. If you ever get the opportunity, well worth the ticket.
