October 24, 2016 – I don’t know why I have such an affinity for these things when I come across them, perhaps it’s just that they look like weird robots or something.
October 24, 2016 – I’ve photographed this pair before, but I was tired and the weather was deteriorating, and I didn’t have much time (or inclination) to put much effort into finding another subject. Besides, I like the drive down this little spit of land by the water, I think it’s called Tyee Spit, and there’s a nice walk along the water.
But it wasn’t the nicest weather for a walk, and I had the unexpected pleasure of a nice dinner out with a colleague and friend in town; I’m so used to eating alone when I travel for work, it’s such a treat to have company.
As for this pair? I don’t know why I have such an affinity for these things when I come across them, perhaps it’s just that they look like weird robots or something, and their appearance and personalities seem to change with the weather that lies behind them.
