October 16, 2016 – When I came downstairs this morning, I sat down and was sipping my coffee when I felt like I was being watched. When I turned my head there were three Stellar’s jays sitting on the planter, the chair, and the table just on the other side of the glass. All three were looking at me with anticipation…..”Hurry up human, where are our peanuts and seeds for the day?”
Shortly after putting a plate of seeds out, seven jays and two squirrels were jockeying for a portion. This furball and the cats were eyeing each other with suspicion through the glass….
