August 20, 2016 – My garlic chives are flowering. Yesterday they were all like this, today most of them are opening, exploding out of their little cases, their tiny white blossoms spilling into the light.
I love how a simple plant can do so many things.
It provides pretty arching spiky foliage that adds texture and drama to the herb garden.
It has fabulous little flower pods that provide interest.
It has lovely tiny white blossoms.
And it adds delicious flavour to all kinds of dishes.
Quite the little multipurpose plant.
