August 8, 2016 – A quick photo, and an equally quick process to just get “something” today. Because I had better things to do than agonize over a photo.
Why?
Because today is the day that Kirk and I celebrate our non-wedding anniversary.
Marriage itself was never really a high priority, but it was one heck of a good reason to have a fabulous party, with our most amazing friends and family one February, seven short years ago.
Considering that it took us 23 years to get around to marriage, we put more weight on this anniversary than that other one in February.
So tonight was a lovely night to go out for a nice dinner and a glass of good wine at one of our favourite restaurants, Salmon House on the Hill, and marvel at the fact that, somehow, 30 years has passed….!
Ironically, we did first meet at a bar….but no, we didn’t fill all of those glasses 🙂
