Day 203 – There is nothing like a homegrown tomato

July 21, 2016 – I love tomatoes. So much so that I planted eleven plants, all different, this year.

Although they have been taking over my deck, unfortunately the summer so far has been cool and damp, so they haven’t been doing much in the way of producing. But they are trying.

Here is my first tomato, ready to pick, on my Yellow Taxi plant.

It’s going to taste better than any tomato purchased at the market ever could!
