I can find a metaphor in just about anything.
Maybe it’s something that goes along with enjoying staring through a camera lens.
Or maybe my mind just works in strange ways.
Regardless, where most would see a warning to slow down, I see a metaphor for my life.
Caution Speed Bump Ahead.
Today was no different.
That’s life, and it’s what keeps things interesting.
Particularly if you don’t bother slowing down. 🙂

OK….so what bump in the road did life throw at you yesterday? 🙂
Oh, nothing earth-shattering, just one colleague retiring (and another who won’t) combined with the loss of a position from the organizational chart completely, means a shuffle in work that sees me losing a couple of facility responsibilities and taking on some new ones to try and spread the new load around. I’m not unhappy about working with the two new (to me) facilities, but angry about losing the others – one in particular because I’ve made a lot of great headway with it.
And yet I still can’t get that permanent status…..
And so it goes…
Humps are bigger 😉
